Dear Parents,

This week we spent a lot of time learning about the natural resources of Nunavut, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. When asking your child about what they know, remind them that a natural resource is not man made and is made by nature and is used for economic gain.

The students learned a new card game called “Sorry”.  It helps them add doubles quicker.  Feel free to play the game with your child if time permits.

Important Information:
  • Practise home reading daily.
  • Please return all field trip forms as soon as possible.  Our class now has enough volunteers for the Aboriginal Center on May 29 but is in need for 2 parents to come with us to the Ed Center.
  • Please gather any items listed in the email sent home regarding our Learning Commons.

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Sayani
