Today our school participated in the Terry Fox Run.  It was great to see the students contribute to such a great cause.  The grade two’s counted the money that our own class raised and it was $35.40.  Thank you for your donations. The class also spent some time counting by 1’s,2’s, 5’s and 10’s to 100.  They worked in a group and came up with creative ways to show their counting. Looking ahead… The students continue to work on creating a “Bird’s Eye View about their own community. We created a class generated rubric so that they know what is expected of them. Important Dates: October 3 - Community Walk - this will not take place if we do not have enough volunteers.  The grade two team is in need of 4 more parent volunteers. Mrs. Sayani

This has sparked them to wonder about what might our Ken Taylor Playground look like? Students will look at the design process from the perspective of many different lenses including parents, students, and teachers. In order for us to begin our project, we are going to go on community walks.  We are in need of 5 volunteers to come on these walks with us. We are planning to go on October 3 and October 5 from 1:00 - 2:30.  If you are able to volunteer and have the volunteer clearance , please send us an email.  Due to a CBE policy, parents will not be able t
